Description
The Multiprocessor library collects information from the BIOS MP table in the physical memory. This information is then formatted analyzed and displayed in the main view of HWAccess. Not all PC systems include an MP table. The current version of the library supports multiprocessor tables v1.1 and 1.4.
Topology in the Parameters Pane
The MP library sets the floating structure, MP header, Base and Extended entries in the upper level in the parameters pane of HWAccess. Fields located under the Base and Extended main entries are inserted directly below so for instance processor, bus, interrupt, IOAPIC etc entries can be found under the Base MP Table. Performing a mouse right-click under the MP table root will give the option to refresh the table. This function will re-scan the physical memory and display the MP information.
Static Configuration
The MP library has few configuration options for the browser. It can include Hex Data along with the decoded information and include or exclude the MP extended entries when it decodes the MP table.
