Overview

This section describes the main menu commands. These commands are associated with the main application only. External libraries use different space to display and navigate their proprietary options.

The main menu categories include File , Edit , View , Tools and Help Options. There is a separate description for each category. External libraries hook using the active controls, parameters pane and configuration options. With v1.10 they no longer hook under the tools category.

Some menu options are disabled with the evaluation version of HWAccess. These are related with the Save and Print commands.

The File category includes options to load, save and print a view. The user may also save the current workspace. create a new document or exit the application.

The Edit category includes options to manipulate the contents of the current view. The user may search for a string within the current view or copy the contents of the view to the clipboard.

The View category includes options to to change the outlook of HWAccess and the print operation of the main view's contents. Each item is associated with a window and its state is shown with an icon left of the item. Visible windows are shown with a raised icon.

The Tools category includes options to change the functionality and behavior of HWAccess and the active external libraries.

The Help category includes the current help file, the logo screen and registration information.

The same options can be activated from the Control Bars.
