The G-Text Pages module enhances your e-commerce store page content allowing the administrator to create general information pages. Using our Page Sequencer, the generated text pages can be grouped and ordered sequentially allowing creation of topics, blogs, archives and other dedicated page sets for general content.

G-Text pages contains features equivalent to the best of the CMS packages available today. Custom implementations may include a tour of a web store, different FAQs on different topics, wizard like forms with completion hints, knowledge pages. These generated sets of text pages or individual text pages can then be integrated to any section of the website. Knowledge pages, News-desks or any other generic content, can be invoked using the combination of the Abstract Zones, Page Sequencer and G-Text pages.

The whole concept of text groups, is driven by the abstract zones, where various entities can be grouped together and be presented on the front end of a website. G-Text Pages can completely replace the original osCommerce methods, where PHP files were altered at the code level hard-coded strings, to provide text information.

A full HTML editor is also included with this integration service where information pages and in general page content editing, can be achieved with the aid of a word-processor. Alternatively you can use your favorite HTML editor, create the page content and insert it directly to the G-Text description placeholder.

G-Text pages have control switches for each text entry, where the merchant allows a page to be switched on or off controlling the visibility on the catalog end.

Optionally text page reviews can be added to the module where visitors may also submit comments. Page reviews can also be controlled and approved from the administration end of the website. Merchants can allow reviews on specific  pages only.

G-Text information pages is supported by SEO-G and META-G. Both SEO modules have dedicated classes for the G-Text database columns. The G-Text module is also the primary core web system of the I-Metrics CMS that allows the website owner to generate text pages from the admin end.

Individual information pages of the websites can be linked with the abstract zones configuration. For custom integration, G-Text entries can be selected and presented on specific spots of the website. For example instead of having the Customer Login description strings hard-coded, a generic text entry can be used via the G-Text controller. Once the page is created, it can be linked via an osCommerce module or box on the catalog end of the website.
